Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accounting professional to manage financial reporting, statutory compliance, and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IFRS, financial statement preparation, audits, and month-end/year-end closing processes. The role requires ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting business decision-making through timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including the Profit & Loss (P&L;), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and applicable accounting regulations.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of general ledger balances.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support statutory, tax, and internal audits by providing the required documentation and explanations.
- Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and corporate governance policies.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, MIS, and management presentations for senior leadership.
- Coordinate the preparation and review of financial information for quarterly and annual earnings press releases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements,



and corporate communication guidelines.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, and business stakeholders, to ensure accurate accounting treatment and timely financial disclosures.
- Support the implementation of accounting process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- 4–6 years of experience in Financial Accounting, preferably in the BFSI or financial services industry.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience in preparing P&L;, Balance Sheet, and financial statements.
- Experience in handling statutory, internal, and external audits.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while meeting strict reporting timelines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the broking, banking, NBFC, or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of SEBI and other regulatory reporting requirements applicable to financial institutions.
- Exposure to financial reporting automation and process optimization initiatives.
- Experience in supporting earnings announcements, press releases, and investor reporting.
