Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Fabric Data Engineer to develop, manage and optimize data pipelines and data transformation workflows using Microsoft Fabric. The role involves working with data integration, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Python and PySpark to build scalable and reliable data engineering solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, manage and optimize data pipelines and notebooks using Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement data integration, ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation processes.
- Work with Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake and Delta tables.
- Develop and manage Fabric notebooks using Python, PySpark and Dataflows Gen2.
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize data processing and database performance.
- Apply database design, data modelling and data warehousing best practices.
- Implement data quality checks, monitor pipeline execution and troubleshoot failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable data engineering solutions.

Requirements :

- 3-4 years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong experience in developing and managing data pipelines, notebooks and data transformation workflows.




- Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations and query optimization.
- Good understanding of database design, data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT processes and pipeline orchestration.
- Working knowledge of Python and PySpark for data processing.
- Understanding of data quality, pipeline monitoring and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Fabric Lakehouse, Notebooks and Dataflows Gen2 is preferred.
- Familiarity with Fabric Warehouse, OneLake and Delta tables is an advantage.
- Exposure to Git, version control, CI/CD practices and Power BI is an added advantage.
