Every day, millions of shipments move around the world on data that nobody is looking at in real time. Orders, ASNs, invoices, and tracking events flow between 3PLs, forwarders, brands, and retailers, then get flattened into a status that tells you something went wrong only after it already has.

SwiftB2B exists to change that. We are an AI operating system for global supply chains. One platform where 3PLs, freight forwarders, brands, retailers, and manufacturers can see every item, shipment, and exception as it happens. The platform does not stop at flagging a delay. It works out what the delay costs, weighs the options, and starts the fix.

We built it on 15 years of SwiftAnt’s work in supply chain and EDI technology, and on a team that has spent careers in logistics, retail, and enterprise software. We are a Databricks partner and the platform runs on the lakehouse.

This role is for someone who has gone all the way across Databricks and built something real on it. Not just pipelines, but apps on Databricks Apps, agents on the Mosaic AI Agent Framework, a model behind Model Serving, Vector Search, Genie spaces, Lakebase, AI/BI dashboards, Asset Bundles to ship it all. Most Databricks people know one corner of the platform well.

We want a candidate who knows how the corners fit together and has proof. We would love to see what you built and understand your decisions, and hear what you would do differently.

What you will do

- Build customer-facing and internal applications on Databricks Apps, backed by Lakebase and Unity Catalog, that put the lakehouse directly in front of supply chain users.
- Build and deploy agents with the Mosaic AI Agent Framework:



tools over governed metrics, MLflow tracing, evaluation with Agent Evaluation, deployment through Model Serving. Exception triage, carrier communication, customer Q&A;, all behind a human gate.
- Stand up Genie spaces over our semantic layer so customers can ask questions in plain language and get governed answers, and build the evaluation sets that prove the answers are right.
- Use Vector Search and Foundation Model APIs for retrieval over documents nobody wants to read by hand: carrier contracts, rate cards, customs paperwork, partner EDI specs.
- Work with our data engineers on Lakeflow, Delta Live Tables, and Unity Catalog so the data feeding the apps and agents is governed, fresh, and lineage-tracked.
- Package and ship everything with Databricks Asset Bundles through CI/CD, with environments, secrets, and permissions handled properly.
- Be our in-house expert on what is new on the platform. When Databricks ships a feature, you are the person who has tried it by Friday and can say whether it belongs in the product.
- Represent us to Databricks and to customers: solution reviews, partner showcases, the occasional conference talk if you want one.

What we are looking for

- You have built a complete thing on Databricks that real users touched. An app, an agent, a Genie-powered assistant,



a model in production. We want to see it, or as much of it as you are allowed to show.
- Hands-on across the platform: Databricks Apps, Mosaic AI (Agent Framework, Model Serving, Vector Search, Foundation Model APIs), Genie, Unity Catalog, Lakeflow or DLT, MLflow, Asset Bundles. Lakebase and Delta Sharing are a plus.
- Strong Python. Comfortable with a web framework (FastAPI, Streamlit, Dash, or similar) for Apps, and with PySpark for the data side.
- You understand governance as a design input: permissions, row and column security, lineage, and why an agent must only answer from governed data.
- Databricks certifications are a plus, especially Generative AI Engineer Associate and Data Engineer Associate. The thing you built matters more.
- Azure experience preferred, since that is where we run.
- A background in supply chain, logistics, or operations data is an advantage.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
