Data Engineer Apprentice learns to prepare, transform, validate, document & support data pipelines/datasets using SQL, Python & Azure data services.

Apprenticeship Duration: 12 Months Learning: SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, data quality, pipelines & Azure data platforms.

Responsibilities: Assist with data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, validation & loading; support SQL scripts, pipelines, monitoring, troubleshooting & documentation.

Deliverables: Data quality checks, SQL scripts, pipeline & mapping documentation.

Eligibility: Must meet NATS registration & organization-specific apprenticeship eligibility requirements.

Guardrails: Supervised developmental role; production-critical ownership after competency and mentor approval. Conversion depend on business need, policy & performance
