Role Description The Cybersecurity Manager is a full-time, in office role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing security policies, procedures, and controls across applications, networks, and information systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading security assessments, monitoring for threats and vulnerabilities, managing incident response and remediation, and coordinating security audits and compliance activities.

The Cybersecurity

Manager will collaborate with technology, operations, and consulting teams to embed security best practices into products, services, and internal processes, and to educate team members on secure behaviors. The role also involves evaluating current security tools, preparing risk reports for leadership, and continuously improving the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications





- Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to design and maintain enterprise-wide security frameworks.

- Hands-on experience in Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network architecture.

- Expertise in Application Security, including secure development practices, code review, and protection of web and mobile applications.

- Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment, security testing, and remediation planning using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

- Experience managing security incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.

- Knowledge of relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, GDPR or similar data protection frameworks).

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security are preferred.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead security initiatives.

- Experience in a consulting or technology-driven environment is an advantage.
