As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and operate seamlessly within the existing technology environment.

The engineer actively participates in refining application functionalities and adapting configurations to optimize performance and user experience throughout the development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.




- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through technical challenges.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
- Support the development and maintenance of documentation related to application design and configuration. Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Integrations.
- Strong understanding of integration design principles and best practices within enterprise environments.
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Workday integration tools and technologies.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data transformation, mapping, and validation techniques in integration scenarios.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
