Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in the Bridge & Bearings Division at Bhopal.

The Civil

Engineer will work on the design, planning, and execution of bridge bearings, expansion joints, and related structural components, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing technical drawings and calculations, coordinating with design and fabrication teams, and supporting quality control for civil engineering works. The role involves site inspections,



monitoring installation and construction activities, and preparing technical reports and documentation for clients and authorities.

The Civil

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs, support project scheduling, and assist in resolving technical issues during project execution.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and practical experience working as a Civil Engineer on infrastructure or structural projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including structural analysis and detailing for bridge components and related systems.
- Experience in project Planning for civil works, including scheduling, resource coordination, and progress monitoring.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related drainage design principles for infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards (e.g., IRC, IS codes).
- Familiarity with design tools and software commonly used in civil and structural engineering.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively on-site in a team environment.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and coordination with stakeholders.
- Prior experience in bridge works, bearings, or expansion joints will be an added advantage.
