Position: Billing Executive / AR – Accounts Receivable Executive)

Function: Finance & Accounts (Billing & Accounts Receivable Management)

Job Summary The Billing Executive / Accounts Receivable (AR – Accounts Receivable) Executive will be responsible for end-to-end project billing, invoicing, and receivables management for Fire Detection, Fire Alarm, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) system projects. The role requires strong hands-on experience in billing, reconciliation, and coordination with project, sales, and site teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and collection.

Role & Responsibilities

- Prepare and process project invoices for Fire Detection, Fire Alarm, and ELV system projects
- Handle complete Accounts Receivable (AR – Accounts Receivable) cycle including billing, follow-ups, and collection tracking
- Verify work completion certificates, purchase orders, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) before billing
- Coordinate with project, site, and sales teams for billing approvals and documentation
- Track and manage customer outstanding payments and ensure timely collections
- Maintain debtor aging reports and monitor receivables status regularly
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing disputes
- Ensure GST (Goods and Services Tax) compliant invoicing and documentation
- Support month-end closing activities with the finance team
- Maintain accurate billing records in ERP/accounting systems
- Assist in audit requirements by providing billing and receivables data

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in Billing / Accounts Receivable (AR – Accounts Receivable) role
- Strong hands-on experience in project-based billing (preferably EPC / ELV / Fire Safety / Infrastructure industry)
- Good understanding of BOQ (Bill of Quantities), PO (Purchase Order), and project documentation




- Experience in customer follow-ups and payment collection
- Knowledge of GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and billing compliance
- Experience working with ERP systems (Tally / SAP / Zoho / equivalent)
- Robust reconciliation, analytical, and reporting skills

Educational Qualification

- B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) / M.Com (Master of Commerce) preferred

Computer Expertise

- Robust proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis preferred)
- Experience in ERP systems such as Tally / SAP / Zoho Books / equivalent
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prepare billing reports, aging analysis, and reconciliations
- Strong email communication and digital documentation handling

Preferred Profile

- Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction), ELV, Fire Safety, Electrical, or Infrastructure companies
- Hands-on exposure to project billing and milestone-based invoicing
- Strong follow-up skills for collections and receivables management
- Experience in handling multi-project environments
- Good coordination with sales, project, and finance teams

- Reduction in outstanding receivables (DSO – Days Sales Outstanding)
- Collection efficiency and follow-up effectiveness
- Accuracy in reconciliation and accounting entries
- Compliance with GST and audit requirements
