Job Summary

We are looking for detail-oriented candidates for Internal Audit and Non-Performing Asset (NPA) Audit activities. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing loan accounts, verifying banking documentation, identifying irregularities, and assessing compliance with banking policies and applicable RBI guidelines. Candidates with prior exposure to banking audits, loan documentation, credit audits, or NPA verification will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal audits of banking operations and loan-related activities.
- Review loan accounts to identify overdue payments, irregularities, and potential NPA classifications.
- Verify loan files, sanction letters, KYC documents, security documents, and supporting records.
- Examine loan disbursement, repayment history, outstanding balances, and overdue accounts.
- Check the accuracy of NPA identification and classification as per applicable banking norms.
- Review documentation and compliance with internal policies and applicable RBI guidelines.
- Identify discrepancies, procedural gaps, and weaknesses in internal controls.




- Verify collateral and security-related documentation, wherever applicable.
- Prepare audit observations, working papers, and reports.
- Coordinate with bank officials and relevant departments to resolve audit queries and follow up on findings.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of banking operations, loan processing, and credit documentation.
- Knowledge of NPA classification, overdue accounts, and loan account verification is preferred.
- Prior exposure to internal audit, bank audit, credit audit, or NPA audit is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and report-writing abilities.
- Willingness to travel to bank branches or client locations, if required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
