Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Trims Design Engineers with expertise in interior and exterior plastic trim components for four-wheelers. Candidates should have hands-on experience in CATIA V5, plastic component design, and PLM tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the end-to-end design and development of plastic trim components.
- Analyze styling inputs and finalize design concepts.
- Perform design checks to ensure compliance with automotive regulations.
- Identify plastic defects and understand tooling conditions.
- Validate packaging feasibility with surrounding components and ensure technical sign-off.
- Prepare and manage BOMs, complexity matrices, and RFQ packages.




- Use Teamcenter and/or Enovia for BOM management, ECR/ECO releases, and technical documentation.
- Prepare risk matrices, fishbone diagrams, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth design development.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
- Experience with interior and/or exterior plastic trims for four-wheelers.
- Knowledge of plastic component design, defects, and tooling conditions.
- Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter or Enovia.
- Understanding of BOMs, ECR/ECO, packaging feasibility, and design validation.
- Valuable communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
