We are looking for a motivated and analytical Associate – Power BI Analyst with 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and business intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Excel, DAX, and Power Query, along with the ability to transform raw data into meaningful business insights.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, prepare and analyze datasets, develop interactive dashboards, and deliver accurate reports that support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Write SQL queries to extract, filter, join, aggregate, and analyze data from relational databases.
- Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Apply Power Query for data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and preparation.
- Create and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs to support business reporting.
- Develop effective data visualizations, charts, tables, and performance dashboards.
- Perform data validation and troubleshoot discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Build and maintain data models, relationships, and reporting datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into actionable insights.
- Optimize existing reports and dashboards for performance, usability, and accuracy.
- Document reporting logic,



data sources, dashboard specifications, and data transformation processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or Power BI reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, report creation, and data visualization.
- Good working knowledge of SQL, including SELECT statements, JOINs, WHERE clauses, GROUP BY, subqueries, and aggregate functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, PivotTables, data cleaning, and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with DAX, including measures, calculated columns, and commonly used functions.
- Practical experience with Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and preparation.
- Understanding of data modeling, relationships, and data validation techniques.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have

- Exposure to SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Understanding of star schema, fact and dimension tables, and data modeling best practices.
- Familiarity with Power BI Service, workspace management,



and scheduled data refreshes.
- Experience working with business KPIs, operational reports, and performance metrics.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
- Familiarity with dashboard performance optimization and report publishing.
