Assistant Manager- Study Abroad Sales & Counselling

This is not a remote or online position. The selected candidate will be required to work regularly from our Kochi office.We therefore prefer applications from candidates currently based in Kerala, particularly Kochi and nearby regions, who can conveniently work from the office on a regular basis.

About the RoleSalve Maria Group is looking for experienced Study Abroad professionals to join our sales and counselling leadership team.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of international education opportunities across multiple study destinations, along with proven experience in student counselling, admissions guidance and sales conversions.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Team Heads in managing counselling activities, student enquiries and sales performance.
- Guide counsellors in identifying suitable study destinations, universities and programmes based on student profiles.
- Assist in handling complex student profiles and improving counselling quality.
- Monitor lead follow-ups, student engagement, registrations and conversions.
- Coach and support counsellors in achieving individual and team sales targets.




- Coordinate with destination teams to ensure accurate guidance and effective student service.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in the Study Abroad / Overseas Education industry is mandatory.
- Total experience of 5 years mandatory
- Strong practical knowledge of admissions and counselling processes for multiple international study destinations.
- Proven experience in student counselling, lead conversion and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to assess student profiles and recommend suitable international education pathways.
- Good communication, problem-solving and team coordination skills.
- Previous experience as a Senior Counsellor, Destination Expert, Team Lead or Assistant Manager will be an advantage.
