Job title: Applications & Visa Officer – Study Abroad (Ireland & UK)

Company: The Mentors Circle

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh (In office, Sector 18)

Employment type: Full-time

Experience: 2–5 years

About The Mentors Circle The Mentors Circle has been sending Indian students to universities in Ireland and the UK since 2014. We’ve placed more than 15,000 students, our visa success rate is 98%, and we’re endorsed by Enterprise Ireland. We’re hiring a specialist to own each student’s file from university application to visa approval.

About the role

Once a counsellor has finalised a student’s university shortlist, the file is yours. You’ll prepare and submit university applications, manage offers, deposits and CAS documents, and then prepare and file the student visa. You’ll be the single owner of each file and give a clear file / don’t file yet decision before any visa is submitted. Students and parents will deal with one person they trust, and counsellors can concentrate on counselling.

What you’ll do

Applications and offers

- Prepare and submit applications to Irish and UK universities through university portals and partner platforms
- Check transcripts, degree certificates, English test scores, LORs, CVs and SOPs for completeness and consistency before submission
- Follow up with university admissions teams on application status, conditions and decisions
- Manage conditional and unconditional offers, acceptances, deposits, CAS requests and confirmation documents
- Track deadlines and intakes, and make sure no application is late or incomplete

Visa

- Prepare, review and file Ireland Long Stay (D) study visas and UK Student visas from start to finish
- Assess funds and sponsors early, ideally while the offer is still being processed, and flag gaps months before filing: unexplained deposits, funds that haven’t been held long enough, missing proof of income or weak sponsor documents
- Check that the SOP, cover letter,

financial statements and sponsor affidavits are consistent with each other and with the student’s history
- Check every file against current Irish immigration and UKVI requirements before submission
- Manage VFS and UKVCAS appointments, biometrics, TB tests, medical insurance and tracking
- Prepare students for credibility interviews

Refusals, after arrival and quality

- Analyse every refusal, prepare appeals or reapplications, and share what we learn with the counselling team
- Support students after arrival with residence permit registration, eVisa questions and renewals
- Keep our application and visa checklists up to date as rules change, and train counsellors every quarter
- Keep each student’s stage in our CRM accurate, from application through offer and deposit to visa

What we’re looking for

- A graduate in any discipline
- 2–5 years in study abroad applications and student visas, including Ireland and/or UK visa files you’ve prepared and filed yourself
- Hands-on experience with university applications, offers, deposits and CAS or confirmation documents
- A solid understanding of financial evidence: bank statements, education loans, sponsor income, ITRs and the rules on how long funds must be held
- Exceptional attention to detail. One mismatched date or unexplained deposit can cause a refusal
- Strong written English for applications, cover letters, appeals and correspondence with universities
- The confidence to tell a counsellor or a family that a file isn’t ready, and hold that position
- Organised under seasonal pressure, especially in June–August and November–December

What we offer

- A competitive fixed salary, plus an annual bonus linked to our visa success rate
- Full ownership of each student file from application to visa
- A direct reporting line to the Founder & Director
- Exposure to Irish and UK university partners, admissions teams and immigration updates
- A path to Head of Applications & Visa as we grow
