High-Speed IO IP System Test Engineer

ACL Digital is seeking a High-Speed IO IP System Test Engineer with expertise in post-silicon electrical characterization and validation. The role involves developing and executing electrical test plans, conducting protocol compliance testing, and validating high-speed interfaces across PVT conditions to ensure first-silicon readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute electrical test plans for high-speed IO IPs.
- Perform compliance and logo testing for PCIe Gen 4/5/6, USB4, MIPI M-PHY UFS, HDMI, and DisplayPort.
- Conduct post-silicon characterization and validation across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) conditions.
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) in collaboration with SoC design, firmware, and board design teams.
- Use oscilloscopes, BERTs, and VNAs for electrical testing and characterization.




- Conduct signal integrity (SI) channel analysis and simulations.
- Develop Python scripts to automate testing and validation activities.
- Support first-silicon readiness and customer-facing technical activities.

Required Skills:

- 6+ years of experience in high-speed IO IP system testing and post-silicon validation.
- Hands-on experience in electrical characterization and protocol compliance testing.
- Knowledge of PCIe Gen 4/5/6, USB4, MIPI M-PHY UFS, HDMI, and DisplayPort.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, BERTs, VNAs, and SI channel analysis/simulations.
- Proficiency in Python automation.
- Robust root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration skills.
