Finance Manager – Factory Finance- 1 Year - Bangalore

We are hiring a qualified CA / CMA is required to run factory finance for manufacturing operations, with a focus on costing, inventory control and plant-level reporting. The role partners with plant, supply chain and commercial teams to keep product costs accurate and inventory healthy.

Location - Bangalore

Your Future Employer - A manufacturing organisation with an in-house plant and a finance team that works closely with production, procurement and supply chain. The name will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

Responsibilities -

- Prepare and maintain standard and actual product costing; analyse variances in material, labour and overheads
- Run month-end inventory valuation across raw material, packing material, WIP and finished goods
- Track slow-moving, obsolete and expiring stock, and recommend provisions and corrective actions
- Reconcile physical stock counts with books and investigate differences
- Prepare monthly plant MIS, cost sheets and yield, wastage and conversion-cost reports
- Support month-end close, including accruals, GRN-to-invoice reconciliation and cost allocations
- Partner with production,



procurement and supply chain to improve margins and working capital
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory audit requirements and cost audit (where applicable)

Requirements -

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA)
- Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience
- Experience in factory finance, with a working understanding of inventory management and product costing
- Background in the FMCG industry
- Sound grasp of cost accounting: standard costing, BOM, routing, absorption and variance analysis
- Understanding of inventory valuation, stock provisioning and shelf-life and expiry risk
- Working knowledge of an ERP system (SAP / Oracle / similar) and advanced Excel
