About Rising Tide Enterprises

Rising Tide Enterprises is a Kolkata-based seafood manufacturer. We are looking for an Accounts Executive to keep our books accurate and our statutory filings on time.

Role Overview

You will handle day-to-day accounting and data entry in Tally and manage statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI and Professional Tax). The role needs someone who is detail-oriented, dependable and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts in Tally, including voucher entries for purchases, sales, receipts, payments and journals
- Do accurate and timely data entry and ledger maintenance
- Handle bank, vendor and customer reconciliations
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), and reconcile with GSTR-2B/2A and books
- Calculate, deduct, deposit and file TDS returns, and issue Form 16/16A
- Process monthly PF and ESI contributions and file returns on time
- Handle Qualified Tax (PTax) calculation, payment and returns
- Support month-end closing,



MIS and audit preparation
- Coordinate with the CA, auditors and internal teams on compliance and documentation
- Keep all records audit-ready and ensure no statutory deadlines are missed

Requirements

- B.Com or a related degree (M.Com or Inter-CA is a plus)
- 2-3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of Tally (Tally Prime preferred)
- Proven experience with GST, TDS, PF, ESI and PTax compliance
- Good command of MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail, with good time management and communication skills
- Able to join immediately

Good to Have

- Experience in a manufacturing or trading environment
- Experience with inventory accounting
