At Citi, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your career, give back to your community and make a real impact.Job OverviewKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize Sybase ASE stored procedures, queries, and database objectsPerform application-level DBA activities including performance tuning, query optimization, and index managementCollaborate with application teams to support database design and data modellingMonitor and troubleshoot database performance issues at the application layerManage database connections, locking, and blocking analysisSupport release deployments and schema changes in non-production and production environmentsRequired Skills:Strong Sybase ASE development experience (T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers)Application DBA experience — performance tuning, execution plans, lock managementFamiliarity with sysprocesses, monitoring, and MDADB reportingAbility to work closely with development and infrastructure teamsExperience with scripting (Shell/Python) for automation is a plusRecommended Qualifications:8 to 12 years of relevant experienceExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsAbility to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projectsExperience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools,
