Associate Lead Data Scientist (ALDS)

You’ll work on a broad range of cutting-edge data science and machine learning problems across industries. You’ll engage with clients to understand their business context and own end-to-end AI and analytics programs. This role combines hands-on data science, technical team leadership and client interaction. What You’ll Do

Data Science & Delivery

- Design data science solutions for business problems in Retail, Pharma, Banking, Insurance and other domains
- Develop predictive models using ML algorithms such as SVM, Random Forest, Neural Networks, Decision Trees, Regression, K-Means and PCA
- Design statistical hypothesis tests to support formal decision-making
- Uncover insights hidden in large datasets and turn them into business results
- Contribute to internal data science product development initiatives

Team & Project Leadership

- Build the data science roadmap and guide data scientists to meet their deliverables
- Allocate work based on team members’ availability, skills and current workload
- Handle project management, including effort and time estimation




- Run regular project reviews and audits to keep delivery within agreed guardrails
- Maximize team billing and utilization throughout the year

Client & Business

- Understand complex client problem statements and offer the right solutions
- Own the engagement and build scalable processes for faster turnaround and higher accuracy
- Define technology strategy and roadmaps for client accounts and guide their implementation
- Manage client stakeholders and expectations through weekly meetings and status updates
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with client IT management and internal account leadership
- Build business cases for future technology investments
- Provide inputs to sales and pre-sales activities

What We’re Looking For

- 4 - 6 years of relevant machine learning experience, including at least 1 year in Generative AI
- Programming experience in Python, R, SQL, NoSQL and Spark
- Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as Num Py, pandas, scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, spa Cy, Scrapy and BERT
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Solid statistics foundation
- Deep understanding of ML algorithms for both structured and unstructured data
- Comfortable with large-scale data processing and distributed computing
- Strong project management and team management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
