• Design, Code, test and debug applications running on the AS400 platform using CL, COBOL and SYNON
• Excellent programming skills on the iSeries Platform - Analyze and create programs using COBOL , SQLCOBOL, CBLLE and Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
• Very valuable knowledge of SQL concepts - Analyze and modify complex SQL queries, embedded SQL in SQLCOBOL, cursor programming.
• Database Concepts - Create and analyze Physical files, Logical FIles, SQL tables, indexes, Views and Stored procedures.
• Positive Communication skills and ready to own the project task completely based on the communication with the business users.
• Adhere to all quality requirements.
• Should be able to work independently.
Minimum 3 years of experience in SYNON
