Job Description – BCA HOD

Position: Head of Department – BCA
Location: Jigani / Electronic City, Bengaluru
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: Master’s Degree or above
Salary: Up to ₹70,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the BCA academic department and ensure effective academic delivery.
Plan and coordinate the BCA curriculum, timetable, examinations, and academic activities.
Guide, mentor, and monitor faculty members for effective teaching and student outcomes.
Ensure timely completion of syllabus, assessments, projects, and academic documentation.
Mentor BCA students and support their academic, career, internship, and placement requirements.
Organize workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industry interactions, and value-added programs.
Coordinate with management and other departments for smooth academic operations.
Maintain academic standards and contribute to continuous improvement of the BCA program.

Candidate Profile




Master’s degree or above in Computer Applications, Computer Science, IT, or a relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant academic/teaching experience, with leadership or HOD experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of BCA curriculum and current technology trends.
Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and team-management skills.
Ability to mentor faculty and students and drive academic excellence.
Industry exposure, research experience, or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
