Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven General Manager – Sales and Logistics to lead sales growth, distribution expansion, team performance, and end-to-end logistics operations. The candidate will ensure effective product availability, timely deliveries, cost control, and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Develop sales strategies, revenue plans, and territory-wise targets.
Expand and manage distributor, stockist, wholesale, and retail networks.
Drive sales across General Trade, Up-to-date Trade, and institutional channels.
Lead sales teams, monitor performance, and ensure target achievement.
Identify recent markets and monitor competitor activities.
Oversee transportation, fleet utilisation, delivery routes, and logistics costs.
Coordinate inventory, warehousing, dispatch, and product availability.
Align sales forecasts with production and stock requirements.
Monitor customer payments, outstanding receivables, and credit limits.
Prepare sales,



inventory, logistics, and performance reports for management.
Improve operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
Relevant experience in FMCG sales, distribution, and logistics management.
Experience in sales team leadership, distributor management, and target achievement.
Knowledge of inventory control, transportation, demand forecasting, and collections.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or inventory management software.
Experience in packaged foods, flour, staples, or agro-food manufacturing is preferred.
MBA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
