Chitkara University is seeking qualified candidate for Associate Professor position for Chitkara Law School.

Role Overview:

The Associate Professor will provide academic and research leadership to the Law School. They will teach, mentor faculty and students, drive quality and accreditation initiatives, and build strong industry and academic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach and mentor students in the areas of IPR, Technology Law, and Trade & Investment Law
Set academic goals and lead academic and research initiatives for the Law School
Build cohesive teams and foster a culture of academic excellence
Upgrade teaching-learning processes and pedagogy
Lead curriculum development and review
Support institutional quality assessment, compliance, and faculty development
Facilitate accreditation and ranking processes with bodies such as NAAC and NIRF
Develop and sustain linkages with industry, legal practitioners, and academic institutions
Guide research, publications, and doctoral supervision

Experience:
Minimum 8 years of overall work experience in legal education (Post Masters in LLM)




Experience in facilitating accreditation and rankings (NAAC, NIRF)

Specialization Required :
IPR
Technology Law
Trade & Investment Law

Educational Qualifications: LLB + LLM + Ph.D in Law from a reputed university in India or abroad
