Install, inspect, maintain, and repair medical equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices.
Ensure all medical equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
Attend equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot technical issues.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers and service engineers for repairs. Maintain records of equipment maintenance, servicing, and calibration.
Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and applicable regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of medical equipment in all departments.
Coordinate with clinical staff regarding equipment requirements and technical issues.
Provide training to hospital staff on the protected operation of medical equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and report recurring technical problems.
Maintain an inventory of medical equipment, accessories, and spare parts.
Coordinate the installation and commissioning of recent equipment.
Ensure proper handling and secure use of medical devices.
Report equipment-related risks, malfunctions,



and safety concerns to the concerned authority.
Coordinate with the purchase department for equipment procurement and replacement.
Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules.
Maintain equipment warranties, service contracts, and related documents.
Support hospital accreditation requirements related to medical equipment management.
Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Biomedical In-charge or Operations Department.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications:
B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Diploma in Biomedical Engineering
Relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety standards.
Good technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
