A Senior Accountant manages core financial operations, oversees closing cycles, ensures regulatory compliance, and guides junior accounting staff.

Core Responsibilities:-
Financial Reporting & General Ledger:
Prepare, examine, and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations (bank, credit card, and vendor accounts), and adjusting journal entries.
Closing Cycles:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial cutoffs.
Audits & Compliance:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors by preparing work papers, documentation, and financial reports.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), along with local and federal tax laws.
Budgeting,



Forecasting & Analysis:
Assist management with financial forecasting, variance analysis, and expenditure monitoring.
Review financial data to spot trends, cost-saving prospects, and operational inefficiencies.
Leadership & Team Support:
Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants, bookkeepers, and junior finance personnel.
Review the work of team members and act as a bridge between frontline staff and executive management.
Process Improvement:
Evaluate current accounting systems, workflows, and software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to recommend and implement better internal controls

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹46,000.00 per month
