Job Description – Mechanical Design Engineer

Qualification: B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Fresher to 6 months
Salary: ₹11,000–₹17,000 per month, based on skills and knowledge
Mandatory Software: SolidWorks

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks and basic exposure to plastic injection molding to support product design and development.

Key Responsibilities
Create 3D part models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Assist in designing plastic components suitable for injection molding.
Consider wall thickness, draft angles, ribs, bosses, and other molding requirements during design.
Update drawings and models based on design reviews and manufacturing feedback.
Coordinate with tooling, production,



and quality teams for component development.
Maintain design files, drawings, and bills of materials.

Required Skills
Working knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory.
Basic exposure to plastic injection molding through academic projects, internships, training, or work experience.
Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and mechanical design fundamentals.
Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and positive teamwork skills.
