Position: Commis Chef – Bakery & Pastry

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Bakery & Pastry Commis Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of bakery and pastry preparation, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing cakes, pastries, breads, desserts, cookies, and other bakery products.
Support the senior chefs in daily bakery and pastry operations.
Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and freshness of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
Assist with mise en place and ensure all ingredients and equipment are ready for production.




Minimize food wastage and maintain proper stock rotation.
Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service.

Requirements:
0–2 years of experience in bakery and pastry operations.
Freshers with relevant bakery/pastry training or a culinary qualification are welcome.
Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and pastry preparation is preferred.
Valuable teamwork, time management, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
