Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager - Medical Coding Operations to lead multispecialty coding teams and drive operational excellence across various US Healthcare coding specialties. The role requires solid people management, client engagement, productivity governance, quality oversight, and operational leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end Medical Coding Operations across multiple specialties.
Lead Team Leads, SMEs, QA teams, and coding associates.
Ensure achievement of productivity, quality, SLA, and TAT targets.
Drive coding quality improvements through RCA, CAPA, audits, and performance monitoring.
Manage client relationships, operational reviews, escalations, and governance calls.
Plan and manage staffing, resource allocation, capacity forecasting, and workload distribution.
Conduct performance reviews, coaching, mentoring,



and leadership development initiatives.
Collaborate with Quality, Training, and Operations teams to drive continuous improvement.
Support new process transitions, client onboarding, and business expansion initiatives.
Ensure adherence to ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CMS, payer-specific guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Prepare and present operational MIS, productivity reports, quality dashboards, and management reviews.

Required Skills
Solid experience in US Medical Coding Operations.
Experience managing large coding teams and Team Leads.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CMS guidelines, and coding compliance.
Experience in productivity management, workforce planning, quality governance, and client management.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience handling client escalations and operational governance.
Ability to drive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
