Cookd is a food brand from Tamil Nadu with a community of over 6 million followers. We make masalas and cooking kits that help home cooks make excellent meals every time. We sell through our own website, every quick commerce app, over 6,500 stores across Tamil Nadu, and to customers abroad through distributors in the US, Australia and more.

What you'll do
Build and test recipes for Cookd's masalas, cooking kits and new products
Cook on camera for our content, ads and events
Run taste trials on production batches to keep every pack consistent
Write up recipes and test results clearly, using Google Sheets and Docs

Who should apply
2 to 5 years in a professional kitchen (hotel, banquet or restaurant), from commis to chef de partie; or a chef at a packaged-food or spice brand working on recipes and product testing




A culinary or hotel-management degree or diploma
Confident cooking non-veg, with strong South Indian cooking; North Indian, continental and baking are a plus
English first, Tamil a robust plus
Based in South India, or ready to move to Chennai
Selection includes a practical cooking test in Chennai

Reports to: Chief Culinary Officer.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:
Diploma (Required)

Experience:
qualified kitchen: 2 years (Preferred)
