The role of a transport manager involves the following duties:
Making sure vehicles are properly maintained
Inspecting vehicles
Arranging repairs and routine maintenance
Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications
Maintain Regulatory Vehicle Compliance: RC, Health, PUC, Insurance etc.
Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading
Maintaining and completing accurate records
Expense Management: Diesel, Toll, Tyre(s), Breakdown Maintenance, On Road expenses
Internal and customer coordination
Keeping schedules and organizing team members, HUB management.
Vehicle utilization
Market Vehicles: Rate Contracts, Availability, Timely Billing
Bikers Arrangement
Profitability
TMS Management

Requisites:

· Communication Skills – Verbal, Written and Spoken

· Continual Improvement Process.

· Supply Chain Experience.

· MS Office.

· TMS

· Recruiting.

· Mentoring.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
