Role Purpose
The Specification Consultant will be responsible for achieving product specifications and approvals with MEPF consultants during the concept and design stages of projects.
This is a non-sales, non-revenue role, measured purely on successful specifications of the company in consultant-issued documents such as:
Technical specifications
BOQs
Tenders
Approved makes lists
Key Responsibilities
Engage with Engineering and MEPF consultants at concept and design stages.
Secure product approvals and ensure brand inclusion in project documentation.
Interpret and review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Provide technical clarifications and resolve consultant queries.
Conduct technical presentations and product awareness sessions.
Track specification progress across projects and maintain documentation.
Travel across India to meet consultants and maintain relationships.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Master’s degree (MS / M.E / M.Tech) – Advantage
Experience
5 to10 years in specification roles / consultant-facing technical roles
Strong MEPF background
Exposure to data centers, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred
Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of MEPF services and support systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and tender documents
High technical credibility with strong professional communication
Consultant-oriented, disciplined, and self-driven
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel across India
Ideal Candidate Profile
Engineering qualified with robust exposure to consultant engagement
Experience working in modular support systems / MEPF specification environments
Strong relationship-building and technical advisory capability
Organized and structured in documentation and follow-ups
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹850,000.00 per year
