KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Assist the Chef de Partie and senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Prepare ingredients and mise en place as per the requirements of the assigned section.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to standardized recipes and hotel standards.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size and presentation.
Ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of food items. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation, equipment and kitchen area.
Follow food safety, sanitation and HACCP-related practices.
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are used safely and maintained properly.
Support the team during buffet, à la carte, banquet and special-event operations.
Coordinate effectively with other kitchen team members during service.
Follow instructions from senior chefs and maintain discipline within the kitchen.
Report any shortage, quality issue, equipment malfunction or food-safety concern to the supervisor.




Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the senior chef or management.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant qualification in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management is preferred.
Previous experience in a qualified hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
Valuable knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
Good teamwork, discipline and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
Professional attitude and commitment to maintaining hotel standards.

SECTION-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT Candidates may be considered for specific sections such as:
Continental - Chinese - Indian - South Indian

Candidates should have relevant practical knowledge and experience in the section for which they are applying.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
