Prepare detailed plumbing layouts and drawings for building projects. Develop drawings for water supply, sanitary, soil & waste, stormwater and drainage systems. Prepare plans, sections, elevations, schematics and detailed plumbing drawings. Develop and modify drawings based on engineering designs and project requirements. Coordinate plumbing layouts with architectural, structural and other MEP services. Review drawings for accuracy, consistency and design compliance. Incorporate design revisions and maintain proper drawing/document revisions. Prepare GFC/IFC drawings as per project requirements. Assist Design Engineers with drafting, documentation and quantity-related requirements. Ensure drawings follow company, client and project drafting standards. Coordinate with engineers and other project team members to resolve drawing-related issues.
Required Skills:
Solid knowledge of plumbing drafting and building services. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Revit MEP/Plumbing is an added advantage. Positive understanding of water supply, drainage, sanitary and stormwater systems. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Understanding of pipe routing, fittings, fixtures and plumbing accessories. Good knowledge of drafting standards and drawing preparation. Valuable coordination and communication skills.
Qualification:
Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil or a relevant discipline. Preferred Experience Experience in an MEP design consulting company. Exposure to commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare or high-rise building projects. Experience working on international projects will be an advantage.
