Assistant Accountant – Job Description

Location: Pathanamthitta

Employment Type: Full time

Salary Package: ₹13,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Accountant in day-to-day accounting activities.
Enter and maintain sales, purchase, receipt, payment and expense transactions.
Assist in maintaining cash and bank records.
Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers and bills.
Assist with ledger posting and bank reconciliation.
Maintain proper customer and supplier account records.
Assist with GST, TDS and other accounting-related work.
Check outstanding payments and support follow-up activities.
Prepare basic daily/weekly accounting reports as required.
Maintain proper filing of bills, vouchers and financial documents.
Coordinate with other departments for required accounting information.
Support the Senior Accountant in monthly closing and reporting.




Follow company accounting procedures and maintain confidentiality.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned accounting work.

Candidate Requirements
Freshers are welcome.
Candidates who have completed Tally/Tally Prime course can apply.
Basic knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and accounting principles.
Commerce/Accounting/Finance qualification preferred.
Valuable communication and basic computer skills.
Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of the Senior Accountant.
Accuracy, responsibility and attention to detail.
Suitable for: Freshers and candidates with basic Tally knowledge looking to build a career in accounting.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
