About the Role

MicroDegree is looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Career Counsellor – Inside Sales to join our team in Jayanagar.

The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, career counselling, EdTech, or skill-development training, with solid communication and convincing skills.

Key Responsibilities
Connect with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
Understand the candidate's career goals, skills and learning requirements.
Counsel students and recommend suitable skill-based courses/programs offered by MicroDegree.
Explain course details, benefits, career opportunities, fees and payment options.
Handle inbound and outbound leads and follow up regularly.
Convert qualified leads into course enrollments.
Maintain proper follow-up and lead status records.
Achieve assigned monthly sales and enrollment targets.
Build a good relationship with students and guide them throughout the enrollment process.
Coordinate with the internal team for smooth onboarding of enrolled students.




Maintain accurate daily sales and follow-up reports.

Required Skills
1–3 years of experience in Inside Sales / EdTech / Skill Development / Career Counselling.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Valuable convincing and negotiation skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to handle objections and convert leads.
Good follow-up and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working in a rapid-paced, target-driven environment.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools is an advantage.
Kannada and English communication skills are preferred.
