Freelance Academic Consultant (Remote)

Proofreading By A UK PhD is an academic consulting firm based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, supporting postgraduate students and researchers worldwide.

We are seeking experienced Academic Consultants to provide research guidance, thesis consultation, academic writing support, and journal publication assistance. This is a adaptable, remote position for experts with solid research backgrounds and experience in academic publishing.

Key Responsibilities
Provide research consultation and academic guidance for Master's and PhD theses, covering Chapters 1–5.
Review and improve thesis chapters, research proposals, and academic manuscripts.
Guide students in research methodology, study design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
Assist authors with journal submissions, revisions, and responses to reviewers for Scopus- and Web of Science (WoS)-indexed journals.
Ensure academic work meets high standards of academic writing, research quality, referencing, and journal requirements.

Core Requirements:
Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering or closely related.
Verified lead (first)



author of at least one published article in a Scopus or Web of Science (WoS) indexed journal.
Outstanding academic English writing skills and a thorough grasp of the international peer-review workflow.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage):
First-author publications in prestigious Q1 or Q2 journals.
Hands-on quantitative analysis experience using IBM SPSS, SmartPLS, or AMOS.
Familiarity with qualitative methods using NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or thematic analysis.
Working knowledge of programming or computational tools: Python, R, or Deep Learning.
