Job Description (JD) – Store Keeper

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organised Store Keeper to manage inventory, maintain stock records, and ensure the proper receipt, storage, and issue of materials in a textile manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities
Handle the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, yarn, fabrics, dyes, chemicals, and other consumables.
Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
Issue materials to production departments as per authorised requisitions.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment.
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and identification of materials.
Maintain records of inward and outward materials, returns, and damaged stock.
Coordinate with production, purchase, quality,



and accounts departments.
Ensure housekeeping, safety, and proper utilisation of storage space.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports using Excel or ERP software.

Required Qualifications & Skills
12th pass, Graduate, or Diploma in a relevant field.
2–4 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in the textile industry.
Knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, and material handling.
Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and ERP/software systems.
Valuable organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain proper documentation and coordinate with different departments.

Preferred Candidate

A disciplined and detail-oriented candidate with experience in textile raw material handling, inventory management, and store operations who can ensure accurate stock control and smooth material availability for production.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
