Job Title: Accountant (3-Month Assignment) Manufacturing Sector Location: Mozambique (On-site)

Contract Duration: 3 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant for a short-term contractual assignment with our client based in Mozambique, a leading player in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will support the finance and operations teams during a critical transition period following the implementation of a new ERP system (Primavera).

Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify historic financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
Perform bank, ledger, and inventory reconciliations.
Complete recording of financial transactions in the current ERP system (Primavera).
Prepare and finalize financial reports, including:
Balance Sheet
Profit & Loss Account
Conduct thorough checks on production and consumption transactions within the manufacturing process.




Validate and reconcile inventory movements, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Identify and resolve discrepancies arising from the ERP transition.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting and inventory standards.

Requirements:
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Robust understanding of financial reporting, inventory accounting, and costing principles.
Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Primavera ERP is a solid advantage.
Ability to analyze production and consumption data and reconcile it with financial records.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in English; Portuguese is a plus.

Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (3 months) Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible

Compensation & Benefits:
Fixed monthly compensation.
Performance-based variable component tied to SLA (Service Level Agreement) metrics.
All travel, lodging, and boarding expenses will be fully covered
