Retention Marketing Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a Retention Marketing Manager to own the retention and lifecycle marketing function, drive customer engagement and repeat transactions, and build data-led strategies across the customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute retention and lifecycle strategies aligned with business, revenue, and customer objectives.
Own customer segmentation, cohort creation, retention funnels, and lifecycle planning across key user stages.
Design, build, and optimize automated customer journeys and CRM campaigns across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Push.
Drive campaign and journey optimization through engagement, conversion, retention, churn, and revenue metrics.
Leverage customer behavior, feedback, and data insights to improve personalization, journeys, and communication strategies.
Identify funnel drop-offs and growth opportunities to improve retention, repeat transactions, and customer lifetime value.
Own event tracking, triggers, integrations, and CRM/MarTech enhancements in collaboration with Product and Tech teams.




Lead cross-functional execution with Product, Tech, Creative, Content, and Business teams.
Identify and implement current lifecycle programs, use cases, and retention initiatives to drive business growth.

What Were Looking For:
3+ years of experience in Retention, Lifecycle, CRM, or Growth Marketing, preferably in a B2C, E-commerce, Consumer Internet, Fintech, Gaming, or Travel-tech workplace.
Robust hands-on expertise in customer journey creation, campaign execution, segmentation, cohorts, and retention funnels.
Strong understanding of retention metrics, campaign analytics, and customer lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with CleverTap is preferred; exposure to MoEngage, WebEngage, Braze, Marketo, or similar CRM/MarTech platforms is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate customer behaviour and data into actionable retention strategies.
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional retention initiatives.
