Role Overview

MetLife is seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to its digital and AI transformation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native software solutions while working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop applications using up-to-date technologies (Front-end, Back-end, APIs, Databases).
Implement best practices for cloud, AI/Data, and emerging technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
Collaborate with global teams to drive digital transformation.
Follow Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelors in computer science or equivalent
Experience: 3+ years in application software development, cloud-native applications, and APIs
Tech Stack: Java (Spring Boot), ReactJS, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Kubernetes, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Swift, React Native
Languages: Business proficiency in English and Japanese.
Other Skills: Robust problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in a quick-paced environment.
