Role Description The Event Manager role at NKS Events & Services is a part-time, hybrid position based in Chennai, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, managing timelines, and overseeing vendor relationships to ensure smooth execution.

The Event

Manager will work closely with clients to understand their objectives, develop event concepts, and prepare detailed plans and budgets. The role involves on-site supervision during events, managing setup and breakdown, and addressing any issues that arise in real time. This position also includes collaborating with internal teams,



preparing post-event reports, and contributing ideas to enhance future events.

Qualifications
Event planning and coordination skills, including experience managing timelines, budgets, and logistics.
Client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to understand requirements and present event concepts clearly.
Vendor management and negotiation skills, including sourcing venues, suppliers, and service providers.
Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple events or tasks at once.
In office leadership skills, including team coordination, decision-making under pressure, and ensuring high-quality event delivery.
Familiarity with basic office and collaboration tools; experience with event management software is an advantage.
Prior experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field preferred; relevant coursework or training is beneficial.
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required for events in and around Chennai.
