Title: Design Engineer - Material Compliance

Job Location - Hyderabad

Experience:
2 to 5 years of experience in material compliance, product stewardship, regulatory support, or a related engineering function within a regulated industry.
Internship or final-year project experience in a regulated or data-intensive engineering environment is an advantage.
Working knowledge of global material regulations including REACH, RoHS, PFAS, TSCA, Prop 65, and

EU MDR chemical safety requirements (Engineer level).
Hands-on experience with PLM or ERP systems such as Agile PLM, ProLima, SAP, or NX Teamcenter for

BOM data extraction and management (Engineer level; training provided for Junior Engineer).
Experience with material compliance data systems such as Assent, iPoint, or BoM Check preferred for

Engineer level.
Exposure to medical device quality systems and documentation standards is an advantage.

Required Skills:
Robust technical background in R&D; engineering disciplines.




Solid attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy — the quality of compliance data depends on the rigour applied at this level.
Valuable organisational skills with the ability to manage structured, process-driven tasks methodically and consistently.
Comfortable working with large datasets across spreadsheets, databases, and engineering systems.
Clear written and verbal communication in English for supplier coordination, documentation, and internal reporting.
Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive in flagging issues and seeking guidance when needed.
Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge in an evolving regulatory and compliance environment.
• Ability to handle high-volume data tasks with consistent quality and thoroughness under guidance.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related scientific discipline.
