Role - Electrical Engineer / Sr Electrical Engineer Location - West Africa (Conakry)

About the role We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a robust background in managing and maintaining electrical systems within an industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, particularly in the design, specification, and maintenance of high-voltage (20kV) and low-voltage (0.4kV) systems.

This role requires expertise in ensuring the safe and effective operation of electrical infrastructure, along with the ability to provide technical guidance on complex projects.

What you will deliver

System Maintenance & Management

Oversee the daily operation of all electrical systems within the factory, including high-voltage

(20kV) and low-voltage (0.4kV) systems.

Manage the supervision of the 15MVA,



0.4kV UPS electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain system reliability and avoid operational interruptions.

Coordinate with other operational and maintenance teams to ensure all electrical systems meet safety and performance standards.

Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to prevent equipment failures.

Execute periodic preventive maintenance activities through scheduled inspections and servicing of all electrical assets.

Utilize predictive maintenance techniques , such as infrared thermography and vibration analysis, to anticipate potential issues before they cause costly downtime.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure all electrical installations and operations strictly comply with both local and international safety regulations, including IEC and OSHA standards .

Perform comprehensive risk assessments using HIRA to identify potential electrical hazards and implement effective corrective actions to mitigate them.
