Job Title: General Manager Dyeing

Department: Dyeing & Finishing

Reporting to: Vice President Fabric Processing

Role Objective The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing production activities within the dyeing and finishing department.

Key Responsibilities
Manage dyeing and finishing operations in fabric processing.
Possess robust knowledge of fabric dyeing, finishing, and related textile processes.
Additional expertise in foil and transfer printing will be an advantage.
Experience in processing a wide range of fabrics including cotton, viscose, and synthetic blends.
Plan, execute, and monitor production activities to ensure consistent quality output.
Evaluate dyes and chemicals supplied by manufacturers and apply them effectively to achieve optimal results.
Identify and resolve fabric defects during processing stages with corrective measures.
Motivate and guide staff and workers,



contributing to their growth through training and adherence to quality standards.

Competencies & Skills
Machine troubleshooting and effective utilization of equipment.
Shade matching expertise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Attributes
Solid managerial and analytical skills.
Team-oriented approach with effective communication abilities.

Knowledge Base
In-depth understanding of dyeing processes, CPB machines, jigger, and jet machines.
Comprehensive fabric knowledge.
Familiarity with dyes and chemicals.
Prior experience in the home furnishing industry will be preferred.

Qualification & Experience
B.Tech / B.E. in Textile Chemistry.
Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience.
Preference for candidates with exposure to home furnishing textiles.
