Experience: 8+ years of experience in production engineering,operations,or systems
Production System Management: Lead, maintain, and optimize production systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security for the payment gateway platform.
Incident Problem Management: Act as the first line of defense in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving critical production issues in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt resolution.
Monitoring Automation: Implement proactive monitoring, alerting systems, and automation scripts to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Database Management (SQL): Manage and optimize relational databases, including performance tuning, writing complex SQL queries, and ensuring data integrity in a high-transaction setting.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage Linux-based servers, including server configuration, patching, and troubleshooting for optimal performance and security.




Deployment Release Management: Lead the deployment process for production systems, ensuring smooth releases with minimal disruption and downtime.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of current features and updates, and to provide technical input for scaling payment systems.
Performance Optimization: Identify system bottlenecks, database issues, and infrastructure inefficiencies, recommending and implementing optimizations.
Security Compliance: Ensure production settings comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS), and best practices in security and data privacy.
