(i) To supervise and monitor the work of Technical Directors and FPO Development Officers of CPMU.
(ii) To undertake periodical review of the progress vis--vis envisaged objectives/targets with State Project Directors.
(iii) To coordinate with and guide to State Project Directors.
(iv) To liaison with central and state governments and their concerned agencies to work in tandem with best pool of resources.
(v) To monitor for ensuring that identified FPOs get benefited from schemes of central and state governments.
(vi) To ensure that FPOs identified for handholding and support under the project thrive well and economically sustain.
