He/She acts as a Project Leader responsible of a part of the activities pertaining to the discipline within one project, in compliance with the project schedule under the supervision of the Process Manager. The Senior Process Engineer may lead a group of engineers appointed to the project according to the size of the portion of the activities under his/her responsibility. The Senior Process Engineer may take the role of the Process Manager in case of small jobs under the supervision of the Head of the Process Department or of a Process Manager.
