4+ years experience in retail,footwear and / or fashion merchandising

Planning productranges and preparing sales and stock plansin conjunction with footwear and retail brand partners Liaising with brand partners, stores, visual merchandisers

Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas

Planning budgets and presenting salesforecasts and figures for current ranges

Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season

Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that theyreach their full potential

Maintaining awareness of competitors' performance

Monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary

Gathering information on customers' reactions to products





Analyzing the previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines

Making financial presentations to seniormanagers

Meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock, by negotiating cost prices, ordering stock, agreeing timescales anddelivery dates and completing the necessary paperwork

Managing, training and supervising store teams

Skills and Experience Desired A numerate degree i.e. Maths, Statistics, Finance, Business Studies

4+ years experience in retail, footwear and/or fashion merchandising

Well- organized with a structured approach to buy planning

Solid excel skills and capable at building buy and sell-through budgets

Solid communicator with a high level of maturity
