About Northstar

Northstar Robotics is a San Francisco–based physical AI company with teams in India and Brazil. We build the reliability layer for real-world robots: trained operators step in remotely when a robot struggles, and every one of those sessions becomes training data that makes robots better. Our Bhubaneswar team runs a core part of that operation.

What you’ll do
Run daily teleoperation data recording: schedule sessions, assign operators, and make sure recording targets are hit every week
Manage and grow the local team, including operators, field staff, and coordinators: hiring, training, shift planning, and performance
Work on business development: find recent partners and clients, pitch Northstar, and help close and onboard them
Work with our systems and IT team on data quality, so recordings arrive complete, labeled correctly, and on time
Manage vendor payments, site payouts, and the local operations budget




Report weekly metrics (hours recorded, active sites, quality issues, cost per hour) to leadership in SF

What we’re looking for
Some experience in operations, team coordination, or business development. Internships, college leadership roles, or running your own projects all count.
Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and doesn’t need to be told twice
Comfortable leading a team and speaking confidently with partners and clients
Fluent in Odia, Hindi, and English
Positive with spreadsheets and quick to pick up current tools
Curious about robotics and AI (no technical background needed)
