Work with software developers and project support teams

Identify business requirements

Develop Test cases and prioritize testing activities.

Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for eachdefect.

Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fixdefects.

Performance testing.

Good experience in Regression, smoke and sanity testing.

Secondary Skills

Nice to have knowledge of -

Domain Knowledge of Import /Export, Shipping & Logistics applications.

Automation testing and tool.

PL/SQL, SQL

Worked in agile workplace.

Primary Role & Responsibility

Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements,



and functionof the software product.

Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate;

parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability,and compliance with industry standards.

Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements andwithin established guidelines.

When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, andupdates.

Analyzing and monitoring the performance of products

Developing and implementing test plans for product defects

Reviewing and approving test results

Developing and tracking test metrics

Helping maintain the quality of products

Working closely with the product team on the design and development of newfeatures

Creating and maintaining documentation and tutorials

Implementing recent processes and creating new tools to automate testing
