*Key Roles & Responsibilities Production Engineering:




Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes and manufacturing lines.
Identify bottlenecks, process losses and productivity gaps and implement corrective actions.
Improve line productivity, cycle time, manpower utilization and process efficiency.
Conduct time study, line balancing and process capacity analysis.
Implement Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Poka-Yoke and other process improvement techniques.
Develop and standardize work methods, SOPs, work instructions and process parameters.
Support current process / new product introduction, process trials and production ramp-up.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other cross-functional teams.
Analyze production data and use RCA / problem-solving tools to eliminate recurring issues.
Identify opportunities for automation, semi-automation, tooling and fixture improvement.
Reduce rejection, rework, downtime, material wastage and manufacturing cost.
Monitor and improve OEE, productivity and process performance.
Support implementation of visual management and standard work on the shop floor.
Ensure improvements are sustained through proper documentation and periodic review.
